Autonomous overtaking, renewable energy management and water usage were the themes for the five days of hard, but rewarding, work at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (CRM), in Barcelona, where the 193rd ESGI took place.
True to its commitment, this year's edition of the European Study Group with Industry gave researchers and students the opportunity to apply their skills in an industry setting and companies practical solutions to the challenges they brought in.
This was the first edition in the new format of joint organization between PT-MATHS-IN and maths-in and the Portuguese presence was inescapable.

More details about the challenges at the meeting webpage here.
